You're welcome, and thanks in return! > The difference, of course, is that this one probably works. Hey -- the preceding one worked too! Except for logging entirely too many messages; if you noticed that problem (in this or previous releases) I encourage you to try this release. And, if you _don't_ use the new "proxy" script, this should work like before beta7, modulo the fixes to the AC on/off callbacks from beta6 (which just called them on resume, not at other times). Oh ... and maybe you'd like documentation? I updated the man page too. It'd been three years, and there are lots of new options by now. I couldn't restrain myself. ;-) I guess this is the list to request bug reports on; I'll gladly fix any I inflicted on folk. (And maybe a few others.) I'm willing to suspect that working on a Toshiba Portege 3020 isn't quite sufficient testing. - Dave p.s. Anyone know why kernel 2.2.10 doesn't have the APM update? Did Linus think it needed more testing or something? > Grab it now from: > > http://www.worldvisions.ca/~apenwarr/apmd/ > > Or wait for the Debian package to show up in "potato" on your favourite FTP > mirror. > > Have fun, > > Avery Index: [thread] [date] [subject] [author] |
