the APM/APMD utils should be doing.  We only need one person to
co-ordinate the effort (That'd be you Avery;), but it doesn't mean that
someone else can't do a majority of the changes/work (that might be you

But before anyone can do work, we should clearly draw out the specs for
how and what needs to be done.

I'm not very good at coding (despite my CS degree), but I'll help if I
can, and I'd be willing to write documentation and review "specs" for
completeness.  I apparently write well (not according to me, tho).

Anyway, just consder this a proposal.

BTW: Craig, I hope you're not in Florida right now.... (I saw your NASA
address).
