From: Steve Dodd <sdodd@isgtec.com> To : <apmd-list@worldvisions.ca> Date: Fri, 27 Nov 1998 15:13:00 -0500 APM Vs. ACPII have an Asus P5A motherboard that has "sleep" mode; I want to be able to have "halt" put the mobo into "sleep" mode. - Is this an APM, or a ACPI function? - If so, does apm support it? - If not does anybody have any idea where I could find documentation neccessary to implement such functionality? Also, the P5A bios has hooks to feed the temperature of the cpu, and mobo to the os; does anyone know of any documentation on this (ie. programming interface docs)?
