resume timer

Not with the current Linux kernel driver implementation.  On the other
hand, most systems will wake if the real time clock alarm is set.  In
fact I believe that most APM resume timers are implemented with the
RTC alarm.

The package called apmsleep may do the trick for you.  It's in the
archives of this list.
