From: Kambiz Darabi <darabi@nc.klinik.uni-mainz.de> To : <apmd-list@worldvisions.ca> Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2000 23:03:05 +0200 (CEST) apmd 3.0 and Xserver 3.6.6I don't know whether my posting has reached the list, so apologies if you've read this once before: When my Compaq Armada 1750 is on battery, every time the screen blanking time arrives, my X cursor disappears. Although it is not visible, it's obviously functional, because I can highlight windows and start applications by clicking on them. When I switch to the console using Alt-Ctrl-F1 and back to X, the X cursor reappears. When I execute 'apm -s' and return from supended state (RAM), the X screen is covered with a few bright dots and the cursor is invisible. By switching to a tty and back, I see the mouse cursor again and moving some windows over the dots, on screen refresh, they disappear and everything's OK. Has anybody seen such behaviour? My env is: Compaq Armada 1750 ATI Mach 64 LT X Server Mach 64 v. 3.6.6 apmd 3.0final Kernels 2.2.14, 2.3.99-pre3 (both show the same behaviour) TIA Kami -- K.
