hello,
I was wondering if someone has ever encounted this problem before.
I currently have Mandrake Linux 7.02 installed on my Acer Extensa 502 DX.
laptop. Whenever I boot up, I get a crash when it reaches the APM in the
kernel.
I get a general protection fault:0000
(and then a screen dump as far as I can tell...i could be wrong)
The only way I can get by this is by using a linux kernel which does
not have apmd selected.
Thanks for any help! I REALLY appricate it!
Sincerely,
Tom Cruickshank
