what kernel versions are required?

Hi all; quick question:  The documentation does not state which
kernel versions are required.  I just upgraded to 2.2.5 (RH 6.0)
and now "apm --ignore" no longer works.  I grepped the kernel
source, and the string "APM_IOC_IGNORE" does not occur anywhere.

Is there a patch, or do I need a full-blown upgrade?

Appy-polly-logies for bugging the list with this question, but I
couldn't find the answer in the README files, the web page or
the email archive (although the email seemed to imply that 2.2.9
was required.)  You might want to consider adding this info to
the README files.
