How to stop the power supply fan

  when i run apm -s, the CPU-fan stopps, but the power supply fan
  keeps running. The CPU-fan is connected with this 3 wire cable to
  the mb. The ps-fan isn't connected with to the mb. Is it possible to
  stop this fan too or can only fan's with a connection to the mb be
  stopped?
