Interesting. My crystal sound has stopped working on my TP380 also. And
I think it's been ever since I updated the bios too! It was working
fine about six months ago, and I have the same kernels (honest! I kept
SuSEs original kernel 2.0.35 around for comparisons).

My bios certainly came from IBMs website .. tehy send of regular mails
telling one of any changes. I don't know what bios is in there now ..
I'm not going to reboot to look. But 1.01 something rings a bell. Oh
very well ... the bios part no. is 97H4125, 26/06/98.

You know that APM has to be compiled to ignore multiple suspends,
right? I told IBM what the correct compilation options ware about a
year ago and asked them to post it .. and I also entered what i could into
their noticeboard.

Suspend resume has always worked fine on my TP380. Also hibernate.
