Then send it to this list where it is archived. Interesting. My crystal sound has stopped working on my TP380 also. And I think it's been ever since I updated the bios too! It was working fine about six months ago, and I have the same kernels (honest! I kept SuSEs original kernel 2.0.35 around for comparisons). > Did you find the BIOS at the IBM website I passed along? My bios certainly came from IBMs website .. tehy send of regular mails telling one of any changes. I don't know what bios is in there now .. I'm not going to reboot to look. But 1.01 something rings a bell. Oh very well ... the bios part no. is 97H4125, 26/06/98. > It must be a great relief to get it working. You know that APM has to be compiled to ignore multiple suspends, right? I told IBM what the correct compilation options ware about a year ago and asked them to post it .. and I also entered what i could into their noticeboard. > > > Joshua Gioja wrote: > > > > > > > > I looked around about 6 months ago for a solution to my APM difficulties, but found > > > > nothing substantive. > > > > Since then, IBM has decided to support Linux (hooray!) -- I just found out, so I will > > > > see if IBM can assist me with their computer. > > > > Well, not on all their computers yet... > > > > > > > > > > Josh > > > check out the web site I sent you carefully. Am I missing something here? Suspend resume has always worked fine on my TP380. Also hibernate. > > > > far as troubleshooting.
