From: Joshua Gioja <jgioja@usgs.gov> To : <apmd-list@worldvisions.ca> Date: Mon, 13 Sep 1999 16:02:50 -0500 APM suspend does not work on my ThinkPad 380XDI have a ThinkPad 380XD; I put Red Hat Linux 6.0 on it last week. I then loaded the latest BIOS version on it. When I execute 'apm -s', my machine suspends. When I press 'Fn' to turn the machine on again, Linux reappears, but the machine is frozen. (except hard drive timer; the hard drive will stop after several minutes) I have tried recompiling the kernel with several different options, and downloading the latest APM and PCMCIA drivers but they didn't help. Hibernate does exactly the same thing. All other APM commands work properly. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? Josh Index: [thread] [date] [subject] [author] |
