From: Ian Pilcher <pilcher@us.ibm.com> To : <apmd-list@worldvisions.ca> Date: Wed, 04 Aug 1999 16:26:43 +0000 apmd 3.0beta9 bug?
The good news is that I've finally been able to reject a suspend. The
bad news is that once I do this (by setting SUSPEND_ON_AC=false in
/etc/apmd_proxy) the system is unable to suspend until it's rebooted (no
matter what value apmd_proxy returns).
Here is the configuration I'm using:
- IBM ThinkPad 770Z
- Red Hat Linux 6.0
- kernel 2.2.10 with Stephen Rothwell's APM patch
CONFIG_APM=y
# CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_USER_SUSPEND is not set
CONFIG_APM_DO_ENABLE=y
CONFIG_APM_CPU_IDLE=y
# CONFIG_APM_DISPLAY_BLANK is not set
CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_MULTIPLE_SUSPEND=y
CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_SUSPEND_BOUNCE=y
# CONFIG_APM_RTC_IS_GMT is not set
CONFIG_APM_ALLOW_INTS=y
- apmd 3.0beta9
