OK, I've applied the patch and recompiled and reinstalled the kernel.

The system still suspends, even though I've verified that apmd_proxy is
being called, and it's returning an exit code of 1.

This is with kernel 2.2.10, Stephen Rothwell's APM patch, and apmd
3.0beta8 on a ThinkPad 770Z.

Also, please copy me on any responses. I've subscribed to this mailing
list and received confirmation, but I haven't yet received anything from
the list.

Thanks!

You need my latest patch (http://www.canb.auug.org.au/~sfr/2.2.10-APM.2.gz)
and probably some changes to apmd (or apmd_proxy) to use the new
ioctls.

Cheers,
Stephen Rothwell
