Once upon a time, the only reason this picture was here was that so many
people think I shouldn't have put this picture here. But now, it's really
only here for historical purposes. Once upon a time, as far as I knew, there were no photographs of me anywhere on the net, and I liked it fine that way. In lieu of me, Dave was here to take up space. But now, there are pictures of me in various places on the net. Happily, this page has at least been effective in showing up in Google Images under "apenwarr." Ha ha! Suckers! One person I know once turned this very picture of Dave into a pong game. I thought it was great, but it turned out that the author was trying to annoy people by doing it, so he was doubly upset to find his work appreciated. Anyway, you too are encouraged to make pong games out of Dave's face. Dave might not agree, but hey, this isn't his page, now is it?
